Thats about 2/3rd of what we spent annually on sweets at a non-specific east london private members club to have a pick n mix stand.

My 650b wheels, which I couldn’t pick up over Christmas, were returned via evri, return processed and refund issued within 2 days.

I’ve really tried to scavenge the Wiggle fire sale, but I’ve found everything I need (immediate service items and also long term service items such as inner tubes, chains and cassettes) cheaper at other retailers. Latest examples being Tredz and Sigma.

The shareholders are obviously greedy cunts.

It feels like they are rotating some items as loss leaders, (although I don't know how much margin is in something like a £300 set of bars for wiggle) in the hope that people will uncritically add other higher volume 'sale' items to the cart?

I don’t know tbh, it just seems weird that they’re apparently in such a dire situation and yet still coming out more expensive than competitors. I get they need to maximise income (for the leeches) from this point, but at this rate they won’t sell anything.

Latest order arrived with the box torn up pretty badly and a couple of (luckily very low value) items missing. I'm probably going to be onto plums chasing any sort of reimbursement aren't I?

Nah, I had a delivery taken from the front door (thanks Evri) and Wiggle eventually sent me a refund after an investigation. Took about 3 weeks but did get the money back.

Oh well, that's promising.

Not at all in my experience. I've had many wiggle orders delivered by Evri in the last few months that have had issues of some kind. Most that arrive are kicked in, one had missing items. Some never arrived or were delivered miles away (according to Evris own GPS co-ords).
Every time wiggle did an "investigation" and sent a full refund after a few weeks.

Evri's 'handling' does make me wonder the trustworthiness of a set of carbon handlebars that have been returned and put back on sale again, as they will have done at least 3 trips through the Evri system...

I’m based in Northern Ireland now. Chain reaction store announced its closing down sale so went and had a look.
40-50% off most items.
Got a lifeline torque wrench set for £20, still £40 online.
Some GP5000 at 50% off, muc off brush set at 50% off, trail bib shorts with pockets and locks of high 5 stuff all 50% off.

Absolutely loads of gear but I didn’t need anything. Kask helmets, Costelli, cycling shoe range, wheels, all heavily discounted. Shimano and sram service area with 40% off.

Felt terrible for the staff, guys working there for years and going to be jobless in a struggling industry

Wiggle cs got back to me yesterday and processed the refund nae bother.

They did offer me a voucher for the value but I took the refund instead.

Possibly, but they aren’t going to sell all their stock if they keep raising the prices. Bought an Arione R1 with carbon rails last week for £48 which is now £65 (ok, still a bargain) and the GP5000 28mm which were £38.99 (minus 10%) a couple of days ago are now £48.99. The out of stock 25 mm are £96.99! Maybe they are using some kind of weird AI to generate their prices?
