Isn’t Pitti normally in the spring?

nowhere near as exciting as some these outfits upthread, but if anyone's looking for some bargains TK Maxx has a decent selection of Folk/Norse Project at heavy discounts, plus you can search and buy online to avoid the soul-destroying scrabble through the endless rails of ben sherman and old 90's athletic brands.

Some shockers from Pitti there, but the official insta has some lovely ensembles.
This one in particular (3rd slide) Fantastic.

Trying to be individual but they’re all the bloody same, you gotta laugh.
My wife said that a lot of brands have cottoned on to this shit show and are paying people to wear their stuff.

3rd slide has a bit of a Lou Adler vibe, although Lou is unbeatable.

On another note, any current recommendations for reasonably priced ties for daily wear?
-
• #5020
The royal trinity hospice on northcote road had a few nice navy loose knitted ties for £10 each last weekend

The Drakes archive sales always have a huge table of ties and it's worth keeping an eye on TK Maxx for Ralph Lauren. I'm banned from buying ties because I never where them but still have a hanger full.
Edit: And of course eBay, setting up search alerts for Hermes etc but be discerning.

Some absolute whoppers in there, thanks for sharing.

Ebay all day long. So many people have ditched them there must be millions on there.
Just filter by all the brands you'd expect - remember quite a few of the old school French fashion brands would have made nice stuff BITD, so include them too. Similarly burberry will have nice traditional ties as well as their really obvious branded stuff.
Important things to double check are length and width. You don't want one that's way too long or short for your torso. Also some widths may look too old fashioned, or just not the right style. The taper is normal obvious from the picture.
Oh and worth setting up a filter, then searching within that filter by colour. Otherwise you'll be there for weeks.

Cheers, having a look now.
I wear a suit to work most days and have done for the last 17 years so things sometimes need to be shaken up a bit or get some new inspiration. I do love knitted toes for a bit of texture.
Everything needs to be fairly monochrome as I have to appear in court. Although I forgot I had an online hearing today and turned up in a universal works db jacket with an officine generale roll neck underneath. Weather appropriate but not court appropriate. Just as well I had a shirt and tie in a drawer...
Strong Galileo vibes. There’s more…
