Me and my wife's first date was at a B3ta standup comedy night at a pub in east London, both having liked the website in our teens. It became very apparent very quickly that most of the attendees had never seen a woman before, possibly not even another human in real life. We stayed and watched as a teenage boy stood on stage in front of everyone, tried to tell a joke about paedophiles, and then promptly had a panic attack. We left shortly after that and got drunk downstairs, feeling like we had god-level social skills in comparison to what we'd witnessed earlier

It's legal to cycle on the pavement here, I was close passed at 15-20kph by an Uber Eats rider right in the middle of Brisbane the other day. Lunchtime, kids are still off school so loads of families about. I wanted to twat the bastard.

However the roads are lethal for cyclists here, no one gives a shit about peds in Queensland.

Oh yeah a helmet is a legal requirement right?

My mate was working out there and got utterly Lynchman-ed while cycling by some cunt driver. Many broken bones, lost most of his teeth and was in a back brace for a while afterwards.

I think “Lynchman-ed” is the only time I’ve laughed at something here for quite some time
