As an aside, I don’t think I’ve seen the gates at Three Mills open before:

The original Big Brother house was just on the left of that picture, I believe.

Me neither. It's tidal on the other side, no?

Big Breakfast? And if so, it's a bit further north by Old Ford Locks and still there
edit - wrong BB, my mistake!

[sorry, missed your post! ^]
'within cabling distance' of 3 Mills studios
https://diamondgeezer.blogspot.com/2020/07/big-brother-20.htmlIn the 2002 satellite (before the locks were built) you can still see the shape of the BB perimeter fence and the access road in the shrub land over the bridge from the studios . Trees match up too
Always wondered exactly where it was.

As mentioned, more worrying that I got free tickets and went but had no interest in the TV show and didn't watch it.
Think the then partner was into that...got to be 20 odd years ago.

No idea what the clue means but it's visible on satellite view.

The clue is a reference to what the 2002 satellite imagery of the area shows
-
• #28767
Of course!

If you don't happen to have 2002 vintage satellite imagery close at hand:

Is that a cameo?

It is!
Mrs Oat saw it in an old dusty storage room when she was inspecting Tilbury Fort for work and they offered it to her. It was in a very rusty shape but scrubbed up well. From the engraving on the hub it's from 1982. I also saw that it said Dynohub on it and did a little experiment with a spare dynamo light and the two bolts on it and to my happy surprise it worked! Feeding the double wire through the frame was a fun exercise. Very pleased with it. Rides really well!

I know where the tag is but cryptic clues befuddle me. I remember my dad explaining cryptic crossword clues to me when I was a kid and not getting it at all.
I did show him how sudoku worked though, and I don't think he got that.
Nice bike, good tag, and csb -

Swap iceberg for fridge and you'll see what I meant! Didn't mean to be too cryptic

The clue is far from crytpic, unless of course Spice Bert isn't the actual answer.
