I don't think that would prevent corruption though. The only way to stop MPs from doing corrupt things for their own benefit is to prevent them from earning money* before, during and for some time after their service.

* or any kind of non-monetary benefit like a such as a holiday in St Vincent and the Grenadines

On top of all these suggestions it would be great if they were held accountable for some of this shit when they do it.
