Not really in keeping with the recent history of this thread, but what are people's absolute go-to bargain wines for everyday drinking? Ideally not much more than £10. To start, this pinot from Majestic, often found on offer at around £10 a bottle. We had it our wedding and it was very well received and whilst we bought on sale and return, we kept about 48 bottles so still getting through it and enjoying every drop. Def a staple, such a lovely easy-drinking red.
For ‘everyday’ we buy the Incanta Romanian Pinot noir from them as well as the Solomonar reserve.
The definition range is really good value and often very good producers. The Rioja is from La Rioja Alta and terrific for £9.99
