Lol. I've still never seen a Moonswatch in a shop but I walked past a Swatch stand in the Trafford centre with a load of the Swatchpains

So this is the first of the new Hydroconquest Longines GMT I have had through. After the mixed reaction to the “summer blue “ Seamaster what’s people’s thoughts on this ? It retails for £2650 .

Pain-swatch surely?
The Hydro conquest is lovely.

Rolex case (and hour markers with the dots and blocks swapped), Omega bezel etc. Almost a Tudor snowflake hour hand.
Can see what they're going for and it'll probably do well at the price but it's too derivative for me. The green one is better but I much prefer the Spirit Zulu Time GMT.

It feels a step forward finish and quality, and has a micro adjust on the bracelet catch just like seamaster. The bracelet overall is nicer than the one on the standard Hydroconquest.
I like it. -

Cant you find a used planet ocean at that price?

Just walked past a shop that had them in the window. They’re definitely nicer than the old ones.

You can’t buy a decent used seamaster 300 at £2600 let alone a planet ocean.

I have a hankering for a Panerai.
Seen a (used) Radiomir manual that is almost affordable (if I put my mind to saving and work don't grant my bonus as shares)Any reasons not to?

More serious answer - no real reason not to get one. Which model are you looking at as I'd always be more tempted by the older models with the Unitas movement (i trust them as a movement than than the Panerai in-house effort and it's also independently serviceable etc).
Could you be tempted with a forum-priced 177 instead - serviced in May last year so over a year of warranty left on it? I'm prob going to sell mine as got a potential house move and trying to be sensible.
Edit: Obvious advice is obvious, but forgot to say - be super careful about sourcing second hand Pammies - there are a LOT of superfakes out there, so buy the seller. Panerai bods generally like a full set (box, label, warranty card and stickers) so factor this in if you think you may want to resell at some point (and a seller having this stuff also gives some (but certainly not definitive) comfort that their watch is the real McCoy).

Looks like a decent update to me. Personally wasn't a fan of the older style as I don't like that the markers are pushed right up to the edge and leave a lot of space towards the centre but as these are longer I think the balance looks better. As others said, finishing looks nicer too.

Quality stuff this and wicked work. Hope it does well and down the line those numerals get the airtime they deserve!
