Bloody hell, he doesn't look like he's nearly 16!

• #5454
Wow, they may be cousins!

Ours won’t go out if it’s raining, if he’s out and it rains he’s fine but if I leave the house and it’s raining he becomes an anchor. They are can be fussy wee bastards

My BT flatly refuses to walk if I put him in a jacket.
Had a mild disagreement with his day care as they insist on coats in colder weather, we said he doesn't like them and becomes a stubborn little shit (BT, stubborn? Colour me surprised)
He then trotted out of day care wearing a scabby old coat from their donated pile, happy as Larry.
Fast forward a couple weeks and we got him a couple of little coats, refuses to wear them for us.
He also gets the right hump if he has to walk on the rain. -

Haha yeah the coat thing is exactly this! Galling for the parent - makes you realise challenging behaviour is all about pushing back not about the thing itself

Not actually sure if I’ll get there with this. Might try to find something to put in my trailer and try taking her out in that. It’s a knockoff Bob Yak with little to keep her in it. Perhaps an old washing basket might fit in there.

Thanks! Yours looks lovely too. Do I have a vague sense you're SE? If you/they fancied a longboi runaround in honor oak/Crofton park/Brockley/Peckham at any point please do shout. He loves other dogs more than anything else. Case in point....

So.
Er.
I’m getting a dog on Friday I think.
Does anyone on here who lives SE way have a carrier I could borrow for the round trip I’m doing by train?
I know it’s not ideal to do it by train but a car, an overnight stay, etc etc are all adding up in terms of cost and pressure and time on everyone. -

Ha! Congrats?
Stood firm on that one!
Just carry it or put in a bag.
-
• #5472
Yeah, dead firm.
We had a number of chats between the responsible adults, the kids.
There have been some changes too, and we feel a lot more in control rather than being pushed by some neurological urge.anyway, think I’ve got a carrier sorted if I need to. About to call the breeder and sort out collection.

Wonderful news.
Rescue or pup? What breed?

Nice! Congrats. What flavour are you going for? Honestly, as skinny says, I'd just put it in a papertowel lined holdall and have it on your lap for most of the journey. If you found a car to borrow I've got a puppy transporting seat box thing you'd be welcome to borrow. We only used it the once when bringing him home....
My old boy - he’ll be 16 in February if he makes it that long. Batsh*t insane, slightly incontinent and will eat anything these days (as in he’ll eat v*g*tables), but I love him all the same…
