We have one of the McAlpine traps that you can lift out and clean from within the shower.

We just use one of those cheap punched metal plates that sit in the plughole.
You can pick them up and throw the hair into the bin pretty easily.
Not these but similar to these:

pull the ‘dead matter’ out of the plughole out and throw it in the toilet but do not flush it, they get the message eventually....

Anyone got a good shower hair catcher.
My OH threw the old one away because it was rank, rather than cleaning it. Now the shower is blocked again and flooding the bathroom because of their hair.
