I've had the same. Fed up with carbon frames cracking, I bought an pretty much immaculate second hand Elite last year for £400 with deep wheel and carbon bits plan. There's some decent looking frames for not a lot of money out there.

Upthread Spesh Allez dreams were mentioned, I think don't fight it. Here's another.

Aw, hell yeah. Best version of the best TCR: last one with 9/8 steerer and threaded BB, and the prettiest. The 27.2 post gives a nicer ride than my ISP example, and if said limited edition version of the team bike is anything to go by, the unmentioned weight of this bad boy could well require ballast to be race legal.
This one also has far nicer detailing than the mostly pretty cool paintjob on mine which is horribly let down by some terrible Arial lettering including a bloody URL, not to mention a Shimano chainstay decal as seen on BSOs. Whereas this one commemorates a century of the TdF with shitloads of goosebump-inspiring names in tastefully done tiny silver lettering, and has this super cool Record group. Can't think of any other bikes sold with Nokon and AX-Lightness, either... That thing is banging.
Epic fail on the QRs for the photo tho.

No more the failed Crabon brands. Name and shame innit.

Ah, sorry. Frames broken - 2 x De Rosa, but the final straw was a Rondo. Also had a Ribble fork crack. Either I'm extremely powerful, my torque wrench is uncalibrated or I've been somewhat unlucky.

It's pretty sick but it's perhaps a bit too money-gun for HH.

I kind of agree... it's verging towards moneygun art piece a bit for sure though that's much cooler than moneygun tasteless at least!
A set of Campagnolo Atlanta 1996 rims would surely secure it in the annals of HHSRB greatness though? -

Or double discs

Would love to see a set of handbuilt vintage Campy rims onto a disc hub - surely someone with a suitable amount of panache has done it?

This sounds like a challenge... 🤔

I had the same on my old Standert. Oddly I always thought these would look great on a dogma. Glad someone confirmed it.

Oooof
I'm still having HHSRB thoughts about Allezs... is there a known cure?
