Photoshop thread

PS6 on ebay. Think I know the answer, but will it work on a three year old Dell laptop running Win 11? Perhaps more trouble than it’s worth.

Adobe gave CS6 away for free about 5yrs ago

I guess my main objective is not paying a subscription. Plus I quite happily until recently used 4 for years. 6 to me was a VIP upgrade.

Anyone know of a script or some clever workflow that will give me output from combinations of grouped layers.

e.g 3 groups, each with 5 layers, turn one one layer from each and save out as PNG = 125 different combinations/output PNGs

And while we're on the subject... any way to stack up linked smart objects from a folder, like 'load files into stack...' but it inserts them as linked smart objects, not rasterized.

Does anybody know of a (third party) alternative to the "cutout" filter that PS has?

Looking for something that basically does the same, but with more control, specifically in regards to how colours are handled / distilled down..
