Wtb: Campagnolo C Record Friction shifters

Happy New Year all!

As part of my plan for this year, I was hoping to complete my peugeot 753 chorus. It’s mainly shimano 600 tricolor bits but I was looking to finish it off with some c record downtube shifters. Does anyone have a set that they’d be willing to sell and post?

I didn’t mention but happy with any condition really- as long as they function <]:-)

Would also be interested in some 8 speed downtube 600 shifters.

C-record are OK, but if you are after friction than look no further than Simplex SLJ, best ever shifters, most pros would swap their Campaq to Simplex back in the days.

Plus c record retrofriction are pretty ugly compared to Simplex :)

Ah yeah, thanks for that. I’d heard many years ago that the simplex were superior in terms of function but I personally prefer the look of the campagnolo. I know, I know, style over substance!
