  • They've lost the opportunity they had by virtue of having the ball in the opponents box? Unless they've lost all control there's a very real risk in diving.

  • It’s interesting

  • Anyone got a link to the livecam of the pub that's showing the Sunderland - Newcastle game?

  • Take it Trevoh Chalobah is still injured then. They really need a a RB though

  • Nice of both teams to wear the same kit to diffuse the tension.

  • Starting to get a little worried about Brentford's season now, can't seem to hold a lead and the squad has been decimated by injuries to key players. Just hoping we keep hold of Toney and make some good signings in the transfer window.

  • You can do it after you've been tackled or laid the ball off or even if you're not the man with the ball. If you roll around long enough they'll stop the match and give it a check (although if you're at the match you'll have no idea why).

I think football is getting towards losing a lot of its traditional fans in the premier league. VAR, the diving, feigning injury after a bit of contact, making it harder and harder to tackle, faking head injuries. It all adds up to a match day experience that's less and less enjoyable.

  • Some people are giving up season tickets due to VAR stoppages at games.

  • Jordan Henderson LOLs

  • he can resume his lgbgt advocacy

plus he's probably put a few million away now, so all's good, his children can rest easy in these financially tough times

  • Junior Sunday league returned today, and OMFG I'd forgotten just how fucking cold it is on the sidelines.

  • from the best 1/2 of football all season to the worst half in 6 days
    desperately missing virgil and salah
can only get better ( hopefully )

  • Yeah, that’s quite good that.

  • Hilariously as he hasn't lasted 2 years he will have to pay taxes on the earnings after all

  • We managed to avoid a banana skin today with an excellent first half against aldershot.

Terrible second half from both teams though.

Hoping for Wrexham in the next round so we can be in the series.

  • This north London virus is pretty contagious

  • blimey unexpected result after that performance

  • Good game to watch - mistakes , missed goal attempts , tasty tackles etc … but the most I take is … I fucking hate Alan Shearer ….

  • Following on from my complaints about it all being a bit shit for premier league fans. The Burnley v Luton match that was meant to be a week tomorrow has today been rearranged to Friday, so plenty of notice there.

  • I thought 183 days out of the country in the same tax year would’ve covered the tax avoidance on overseas income?

  • This is tax at the Saudi end; the deal was tax free if he stayed 24 months or more so he'll have to pay tax there after all.

  • If you've been working full time in the UK in that tax year then the rules are stricter.

  • Realistically it's the right season to have an off season considering the quality of the clubs at the bottom, we do just seem to be burning points at the moment though...

  • RIP Der Kaiser. One of the greatest.
