Hello. A newbie question. I’m after a second hand mechanical watch for my son (young adult). Are there any good sites or London shops anyone can recommend?

Maybe go for a Smiths? Nice simple movements, not too expensive. Wide range of styles available. I like the more utilitarian ones like this. You can get a decent one for between £100-£200.

Hey folks. Now my summer romance is over, would anyone be keen to own the Squale 1521 I bought from this here forums @Retro_Bastard? Haz all its original box and Milanese strap plus a couple of quick fit silicon. It’s in the condition I bought it in and will happily furnish interested parties with lots more pics if required. It was sold to me far too cheaply and I will move it on for the same, which was £350 + p&p. NOW SOLD.

Ha, sadly it plays third fiddle to the Sinn and my Seiko diver so has to passed on. It’s a cracking watch though, I have enjoyed it thank you!
