A friend of mine who got really serious about coffee at some point (imported green beans from Brazil, roasted at home, bought the fancy water just for the coffee etc.) now just dumps an ice cube into his mug because he's just kinda impatient.
Come to think of it you could store some mugs in the freezer 💡
I've been tempted by the ice cube route to be honest! The only downside is that it means less space for coffee in the Keepcup, normally brew 350ml into it which is probably 5mm from the rim.
Didn't want to pop it in the freezer just incase that was too big a temp swing to maybe crack the glass.
