Can you remove the inserts for drying, just to be safe?
Also depend if they're heat moulded etc I suppose

Thats what im worried about. Ive got heat moulded inserts, which have started to get a bit raggedy when i was removing after each use.
Maybe ill trim the inserts slightly to take in and out without deforming. But ideally id just leave them in!
Just wondering what others do.

I don't think the dryer would get hot enough to deform the inserts.
I think the inserts are moulded at 90 degrees C or over.
I might be totally wrong of course

Thanks, i think that gives me enough confidence to test, starting with my least favourites !

My insoles definitely needed to be heated above 80-90c, so a boot dryer likely isn't hot enough. Also, even if they're hot, the insoles aren't going to deform unless something pushes them into a different shape

Just ran it with a heat probe in. Seems to top out at 60c. Will report any melt down

I've had issues with foam parts expanding with heat and moisture.
Is it safe to use one of these shoe dryers with custom inserts in the shoe? Thanks!
