Yeah exactly this.
It’s what I’ve done in the past.The official sram ones are stupid expensive at rrp, but I think that cheaper hoses with the proper compatible banjo started to appear on AliX in recent years.

I have some SRAM force 22 shifters & brakes. The hoses are a bit too short on refitting to a different frame.
They're also mad expensive. 50 quid each?! They've got the silly angled banjo fitting on the shifter end and other than jagwire, I don't think there's any suitable alternatives except Sram. My question is that it looks like the lever end seals with only an O ring so does it sound reasonable that I could reuse the rear hose on the front by just shortening it and fitting a new olive and barb on the caliper end? That way I only need to buy one new hose.
