Dipped in and out, Noppert Vs O'Connor was a good one

Recommendations for a set of arrows for about £30?
Red Dragon with barrels I like the look of?
I am not any good, I only throw them for fun. -

Yep, I'd just look at red dragon and order by price, you should be able to get a set which'll come with stems and flights. Best look for something c.25g if you're starting out. Also Ebay 2nd hand if you know what you're looking for and you can be arsed to wait.
Price of darts these days is insane, you can spend the thick end of £80 on 'pro models' 15 years ago you could buy a pro player dart for £25-30.

While I'm here, I'll have a little moan. I don't get out to play much any more but made it through to the semi finals of a local pairs competition with a mate earlier this year, first time I've made it beyond the first round in 10+ years. Won three games without losing a leg, best I've played in ages. Anyways the semi finals night was arranged over the easter holiday and I was away with the family so had to forfeit :'(

Don't know if you ever bought any but https://www.puredarts.co.uk/darts/ are currently selling a lot of stock half price. Just make sure you don't get caught out on soft tip darts/low weights.
As cheap as you'll get a new set of tungsten darts, really.

Some good darts/cycling crossover here.

'The Housewife's Favourite' as I remember him known!
We used to go to Lakeside in the 90's to watch the BDO world's, I'll have to dig out the picture I got with Co Stompe and George 'Puppy' Noble. And when one of our mates got married we started the weekend's stag proceedings by booking Bobby George's fishing lakes for the day. He made a guest appearance towards the end and called us all cunts. Halcyon days.

I have just found the darts from Alexandra Palace on you tube …. blimey - the players entrance is a bit over the top , cheerleaders etc but I now want the bloke who walked in to Black Sabbath to win …
Not even going to comment on the crowd ! -

If this kid is 16, I'm more of a Dutchman than Barney.

Probably all the beer he drinks.
He’s a bit good isn’t he!

Just realised he's got 'Nuke' printed on his shirt - was thinking he was the least athletic-looking Nike athlete I've ever seen.
His trip-19 covers are amazing.

Yeah, every time he went down to 19 they both went in. Super impressive.

Littler on different level today
-

Dolan didn’t give him much of a test but yeah, very good. I won’t say he’s had an ‘easy’ draw so far (RvB threw some great darts against him) but I’d be interested to see how he’d do against someone quite vocal and aggressive, MvG essentially. Cross’s fight back against Dobey was pretty impressive too.

Classy finish.

Crazy levels of confidence from a 16yr old. Seems to have ice in his veins.
Hope he goes all the way tomorrow.

Humphries in absolutely savage form here. If they both bring their A game it could be a classic tomorrow!

He needs to hurry up and win the title so he can get back to work.
Lad looks like he’s spent the last 25 years doing a solid shift on the forks in a timber yard :) -

Great final, that.

Excellent final.
All hung on that missed D2 for Littler - feel like him being 5-2 up might have got him over the line. Seemed to take it ok but I bet he's gutted. Fingers crossed he's able to bounce back.

Top quality play by both players in the final. I was watching on a Twitch stream that had 100,000 viewers.

It was an enjoyable final. Would have liked to see how it had gone if Littler had managed to hit the heights of some of his previous rounds. Felt like he was only able to sustain his best throwing for short periods in the final.
Humphries the deserved winner - some of his checkouts were superb.

1st darts ive watched in along time, really enjoyed it. its so fast compared too how i remembered watching before. the composure to hit doubles in that noise and atmosphere is impressive. also being a spectator looks a-lot of daft fun
Thanks for posting that, I rarely get the chance to watch darts these days and Mr Gilding seems a humble and deserving winner. 👍
