The latter is marketed as 10/11 speed which seems odd
The compatible 10-speed shifters are listed on page C-346 of the compatability map

Need a Shimano MTB rear derailleur that will do 1x10 speed with a 42 teeth biggest cog.
I think both Deore M6000 (medium cage) and Deore M5120 will work, have I got that right? The latter is marketed as 10/11 speed which seems odd as I thought cable pulls were different.
