Some progress... But also classic bike building issues. I was going to use a 11-36t cassette of my dad's old bike with this XO rear mech I had laying around. It's 9sp but should work with 10sp bar end shifters... What I had not thought about is that it's max 34t and I can't get it to shift properly. So that's not going to work. Instead I am going to use an 11sp friction shifter and a 10sp XT rear mech with a goat link so I can use a 11-46t cassette instead (which is brand new in the parts bin). Took some tinkering to get to that point. Love a parts bin conundrum challenge though.
Had to bring the bike home as I am pressed for time getting this bike ready for going to Tenerife with my family Jan 7. Pressed for time because I am starting a fucking dope 650b project on Jan 2. Can't wait to share more of that.
