Do any of the classic shirt maker type places have something that suits? Idk if the cut will be quite that old school, but it's the sort of thing TM Lewis, CT, H&C, etc. often do. On a % those places often discount heavily on jackets/outerwear.

I called in Universal Works this afternoon, but they'd sold out of their overcoats. If I'm paying more than £300 I might as well get a John Simons. though they don't do the tweedy one I like at the moment.

Yeah, would prefer a brown, and I do have one of the early Uniqlo coats which looks to be pretty similar. In stock in London though, so might pop into a shop and try on.

Oh and in other fashionista news, it's that time of the year again for the peacocks to strut their stuff in the Pitti trade shows and I've enlisted my disgruntled partner to send photos. The only one she's shared thus far is of a dude wearing the same shoes as me which she absolutely detests. I don’t get her point.
