Would you guys still ride a road bike with 23mm tyres? Bought a frame from mid 90's which I really like but it only clears 23c max...

I wouldn't personally, but I still see LOADS of people riding them at cafes etc near me. I don't know how they do it on the roads!

Bag makers - if I was to sew a patch through X-Pac fabric, is there something I can put on the thread inside to make it semi waterproof again? (It's got like a glossy inside to the X-Pac).
Or is it a massive no go?

Waxed thread exists I believe for this very purpose.

I wouldn’t let it put you off. My daily only comfortably clears 20c. Been commuting on that in all weather and doing weekend rides since summer 2013. I mean, you do have to watch out for potholes and debris but it works for me.
If I bought new, these days I probably would look for something with 25c or 28c because it does make for more carefree riding given the state of the roads.

This would suggest yes ..

The fact the domain had been registered 5 days ago in China also struck me as dubious. I'll tell my gf it's not just me that thinks it's dodgy.
This popup was a nice touch though.

The email address on this page gives it all away
https://www.lecreusetonline.shop/pages/contact-usIt's not a very well put together scam

The site’s actual domain name gives it away, because it isn’t lecreuset.co.uk / .com. Everything else is extra.

Browers should pop up a huge warning if you're looking at a website with a domain registered in the last month or two

The fence on the neighbours side is ripping itself to bits in the wind. Does anyone know what the metal bits are called?

No but Orchard Fencing on Ardoch Rd probably have them - think they make up their own panels.

Wonderful, thanks both!

Personally, I'd leave any repairs until the winds have subsided. All that effort, just to have it blown down again?

Where are you? I think I have a couple in SE6 you’re welcome to

Most of our immediate family have winter birthdays. I'm contemplating a regular date for a summer party - sort of a joint official birthday if you will.
This year schools break up on 24 July, so I'm thinking of the weekend before.
Is there anything I'm missing and does anyone have any advances on that as a suggestion?
Cheers.

Could anyone recommend bar tape that doesn’t have a sticky back? It has a reusable gel-like backing. Preferably thick and tacky like Prime Comfort (RIP).
I much prefer them to actual floss.
Get a mains one, because you can get a lot more water pressure than the battery ones, which is sometimes essential for removing that annoying bit of salami from in between your molars.
