Cosplay cunts one and all.

Cosplay cunts cosplaying at being cunts.
-
• #4255
Cosplay is bollocks.
Some are judged for it more than others.
-
• #4256
Cosplay can be fun if you're not cosplaying as a cunt when you should be running a country or something, at least do it in your own time and not with a press team.
-

Agree that government cosplaying is egregious, especially when all things are going to shit
-
• #4258
Agreed on the walty cosplay. Keith has a lovely wtfayla vibe going on. Boris looks like he's living a Commando comic storyline. Winston looks like a real killer though..
-
• #4259
I'm not one of the worshippers of Winston, but he was actually in the army, and used a gun in action. He then went on to do the whole second world war thing.
OTOH, Boris has been cosplaying Churchill, badly, all his life.

• #4260
The cosplay reveals a lot about these chancers. If only Boris had taken up bricklaying.

He's gone in a bit of a different direction to this with his Christmas card
-
• #4262
the "get the badge in" photo sent me yesterday, but the gender affirming care he got on the christmas card was the real tickler (i choose this to be true)
-
• #4263
The Xmas card pic looks to me like it was taken at the same moment by someone just to the left of whoever took background pic in that X post, so foreshortening could be to blame. Not unusual to have a wall of paps shooting full auto at these events. But hard to tell for sure from the way the images have been presented…

Hey that popular policy that might actually be the one good policy we had left? What if we took that out back and shot it in the kneecaps? How about that for a good idea? Fuck yeah.

The doom loop might be a ghastly refrain in RR's brain right now.

funny.

The photoshop conspiracy is much more in keeping with the thread’s prejudices for sure
-
• #4271
I don't think there is much prejudice either way on this thread. Unusually there seems to be a balance between barthian lulz/earnest policy discussion, and contributions from users occupying various zones on the compass.

• #4272
idk, turning oneself into a pretzel to defend the king of Grown Up Politics seems pretty in keeping with the general vibe of the thread to me

Just don’t have much sympathy for pointless conspiracy theories when the point is you just don’t like the guy. Which is entirely your prerogative. I just want him to win the election so we can be shot of the Tories

I don't think a man being a bit insecure about his height is what I'd call a conspiracy.
this not being the photo that has been widely used but one that was taken at the exact same time by someone stood inches to the left of the original photographer and appears not to have been used elsewhere seems a lot less likely than a bit of phtoshopping (which was already being used btw) . don't think you can play the sensible card with this one, soz.
genuinely don't see how this Labour party being in charge instead of the Tories will make a great deal of difference to anything tbqfh.
What is your pithy take on these?
