I have a 2 year old Seiko presage that gets a lot of use, literally worn every day, knocked about, scratched etc. For the last few months it's lost perhaps 2 mins a day overnight when it's not on the wrist. Is it just due a service?
Just read that it's losing 2m overnight... is it by a phone charger ?
Maybe it's become magnetized ?
It may simply need regulating, rather than a full service.
Find someone with a Timegrapher, to check the amplitude and beat variation.
To be honest it's my first expensive (for me) watch, and I'm not sure how accurate it's meant to be - but it is often left next to a phone charger or on a clock radio, I'm really not very careful with it at all!
I can drop it off to a watch service place after Xmas I guess and that should sort it.
