Current variant is JN.1, according to a BBC article citing WHO research.
We were vaccinated in October (every cloud and all that) and tested positive a month or so ago. Better half had a very heavy cold and was very tired. I had a mild cold and was very tired, and I took time off work because I couldn’t focus for any decent amount of time (my work is often safety critical so it was the right thing).
My strongest positive test was a couple of days before testing negative; on both times I have had it.
