This is an absolute travesty. It was incredibly good VFM (too good?) uninterrupted racing almost 12 months a year and a library of fascinating films to watch. I'm so gutted.
what now? Who is the go to cycle sport provider? I...can't...breathe...

Hahaha, I think it depends on when you signed up or renew, so must be prorated. I got a lot more than 10 pence!

Where did you get this info? I had an email last month to say the service was being cancelled but have had no coms on the refund.

My subscription was through Google Play Store as I subscribed in the app, so got an email from Google this morning.

Interesting. I signed up when they first started a couple years or so ago, and had a promotional offer going. Never cancelled. I think my renewal would've been in Jan or Feb. Got around £7-8 back (which is technically a lot more than 10p lol). Didn't give it much attention tbh as I wasn't expecting any refunds at all.

Yep a few people in the Pro Cycling thread who subscribed via Google Play have got refund notifications almost exactly 1% of what you'd expect (£0.19 vs £19.17 I calculated) so it seems like they have ballsed it up

I asked Google how to contest the amount refunded, they blame GCN, GCN then of course says to take it up with Google...
It's not a massive amount for me, but it's the principle -

Yeah you seem to have to contact the App developer via the Play Store in Google's view of the world which would be fine but the GCN app has been deleted from there and that scenario isn't covered in their "request a refund for a subscription" help.

I use App Store on iOS. I still have a current subscription it seems. £39.99. Renews June’24. I’ve seen nothing of a refund.
I also see in the faq’s I should have got a three month free trial (maybe) -

I'm in a similar boat, except mine renews in July. I've heard absolutely nothing from GCN since the initial email announcing the closure of GCN+.

I’ve contacted GCN, they say that I need to progress through Apple…

I raised a ticket with Apple a few days ago and I’ve just had notification that I’ll get the refund (from Apple) within 48 hours.

How did you contact Apple? My subscription isn’t showing up in the list for “request a refund” because it seems to only show the last couple of months, did you go a different route?
