The stock model looks nice, only a couple of grand, Asian markets only.

Love selling stuff, Bikes ups for £2300.
I'll give you £1300 and that's me doing you a turn.
Honestly fuck off.

Not exclusive to motorbikes. Mostly, people are shit.

In the grander scheme of things that's barely even upsetting compared to some of the lowballs I've gotten :)

How do people feel about QR buckles on lids?
I have only used D-rings before and not really thought about it, but am eyeing up a new helmet, and it comes with quick release.
Assume they are as safe or wouldn't exist? -
• #24707
Yeah I would have to assume they pass all of the same tests but I think I prefer D-ring if I had the choice...
Have you tried it on and the clasp didn't sit uncomfortably or anything like that?

Early stages, but it is from SBS so returns are super easy.
Might toddle off to their store over Christmas and try it on. -
• #24709
Never had an issue with them, wouldn’t even consider it when buying a lid.

As in the micro ratchet things? Fairly standard and robust. There’s a fortnine vid where he shows that they’re not as good as d-rings but they are a lot easier to use. I’d only consider d-rings on a track specific lid, I want a road lid that I can remove and put on with gloves on.

Last ride of the year/ever on the CB yesterday. It's now in the back garden ready to for a good scrub and all the original parts to be refitted.
Here's hoping it'll sell before spring.

Folk either have no clue the value of something they are selling, want too much, dont want to negotiate or just offer daft money.

How much to buy one and posted it back here?

Anyone bought braided lines from wezmoto? What was the experience, and what were the lines like.
-
• #24717
Not from them, but from HEL and the service was good. That was a couple years ago though.
-
• #24718
Regarding lids. I've used the ratchety quick releasy straps on my lids for the past few years no complaints.

My usual has been HEL but stopped using them a while back after being able to buy the lines cheaper from eBay than direct.
Also there were loads of codes floating about and different groups had different discount. Like being a member of an online forum got you a bigger discount than being a paid up member of a race group. These are the people HEL first supplied.

Ah I see. I only bought through my mechanics and suffered the higher price as a way to support the local business bottom line. Don’t blame you moving away from the brand if the pricing fluctuates like that.

HEL were the go to for stainless steel fittings.
Wiz are in the same area of Exeter. https://wezmoto.com/

My lovely little Husqvarna got nicked from my front garden three weeks ago. I was gutted but the insurance paid up so I set about looking for something else.
I wasn’t expecting to bump into one of these in a local showroom. But I did and it’s mine. 4 years old with 400 miles on the clock.
