Looks built for the fireside with a chunky knit and walking boots.

The old GS boutique in Knightsbridge was terrible for that, a black hole at the back of the place. They would actually apologise and encourage you to go to the window at the front to get a better look.

Their new one in New Bond Street is a lot better.

I’m fine with it from friends, just something about it being at work is extra cringy.

Looks nice, grats! I’m not a see-through caseback fetishist but I think it is slightly a shame you can’t see the movements on those.

It’s still fundamentally Seiko (and with a regular Seiko showroom upstairs), they have zero attitude, unlike a lot of the watch retailers on the same street. Just pop in, it’s much better than their old place.

Yeah. Such weird vibes. Glad it's not just me being oversensitive.

They seemed a little non plussed when I turned up on a cargo bike and took my seven year old into the shop with me to drop off my watch for a service. Can't imagine plucking up the courage to do that in the Rolex store though.

Find me something this much fun for under a tun.

I should be excited about a green GS but I don't like this much

Looks great, what size is that ?
Bezel typo looks a bit off to me, especially when compared to the dial Arabic numbers..

Is that a « skin diver » kind of diver ?

Pretty hot, and I normally don't like yellow lume much.
Will look great on a black strap or nato.

39.5mm but I feel wears smaller.
There is a size difference for sure but I like that it’s being different.

Exactly that, it’s a skin diver type of watch so as the edges of the glass it distorts

Thanks, yeah not sure it’s going to last long on the bracelet more so one with PCL, so I have a few natos which this will look great on

The polished center is strange, yes.

There are several much better green-dialled GSs, just none that are a bright green like that.
