  • I've been wearing this pretty much constantly for the past month including going swimming and with a shirt (it's only 11mm thick).

Plus you'll have £4k spare to spend on something else

As an aside, does anyone know where the Prince name came from on these Tudors? I know there's a Rolex Prince line but that looks very different.

  • Was out with chum wearing Daytona in the pub. It IS crazy to associate the cost of living with balance in the private sector.

  • Small thing for sure but it was very pleasing to set the time on my Explorer II to UK using the jumping hour hand yesterday morning.

  • Purchase has been made, a Glashutte Original SeaQ, should get it tomorrow.

  • That escalated quickly. Good choice.

  • One came up used, so no way would I have purchased new. But has been on my radar for sometime and so it was meant to be haha!

  • In black? I quite like the fauxtina one but the green is pretty dope too.

  • Oooh that's one I've always liked the look of - interested to hear what you think of it. Did that come in under the budget?

PS - the Bremont suggestion was v much tongue in cheek :) Although part of me thinks they've actually got a good (or at least vaguely original) idea in there somewhere, just not in that novelty styling or at that price.

  • Yes indeed, yeah I like the fact they look very different and a brand that slips under the radar. Also people who I have spoken to about them say they are amazing and quality is superb

  • Well if you're British, then the correct response is the same as to any other compliment - you experience immediate acute social discomfort and then desperately try to change the subject.

  • Same, they have been on my radar for about 6 months but always thought to be a little out of my reach but happened to stumbled across one during the end of last week under the £6k budget and after a lot of questions and pondering over the weekend I have ended up purchasing it!

Thats cool, you never know I might of liked it, there is a lot worse out there!!

  • swimming and with a shirt

Strange choice to go swimming in

  • Pulsar W10 military issued watch on my wrist this cold, Welsh evening…

  • Good choice. I'm just getting back to date on this thread. I'd have suggested the Christopher Ward Bel Canto and change.

  • Checked this out the other day. Looks exactly like you’d expect. The bright colour and the green lacquered seconds hand did make it look a little cheap IMO. Still think the lilac one (which they didn’t have in) might be a banger.

  • That is a miss for me

  • Yeah not feeling that, with the high polished case it does make it a little chintzy..

  • For me all four of the seasons / “sekki” watches in the same case are a lot nicer.

But with all of them I think they could do with being 1-2mm smaller and on a strap rather than that bracelet.

  • Sometimes I think the lighting in the AD's doesn't help with the real feeling of the watch and what it would look like outside.

  • Very true. They all still seem very committed to spotlighting.

  • I have taken a watch off towards the door to see a non spotted light on the item... They do look worried but ours has a locking door, so no riff raff can get in, or out haha..

  • Can appreciate the craft, but xan't quite see the appeal of the novelty dial GSs. Never seen them irl though, so maybe that's it.

  • Helson weather today
