New watch - similar to my other one but with a leather strap and in nicer condition, and more importantly, Roman numerals.

If you had £6k to spend what would it be, only one watch too!

• #75482

$2,000 left to find the perfect nato strap -

A bit too chunky for me.

16570 black dial with lug holes seems possible for that money at the moment.

• #75485
Nice option but not after a Rolex or similar common brands
Would like something niche and cool but stands the test of time

Jaeger Le-Coultre Geophysic reissue.

As long as I can swim with the watch I am not fussed!

If you’re talking niche, I’ve been keeping my eye on the late 90s / early 00s Blancpain Leman Timezone, specifically the white dial.

38mm, really high quality movement etc. There is a white gold version and I think there is a bracelet that was an option on the steel version.

That’s lovely but just a little too dressy

• #75493
There’s a chronograph in the same case.

Niche and undressy you say?
-
• #75495
Wow that’s out there, but too much
-
• #75496
Sorry if I've missed what you want in terms of size and aesthetics. Always fun to spend someone else's money.
-
• #75497
Sorry might not of said, size wise 38-40mm.
Something that can be dressed up or down but is a little unassuming, must have bracelet and be able to go swimming with.
Can be a reissue too or used max £6k

• #75498
Sadly that's a Rolex Explorer.

Thinking Horage or a boring Seamaster.
There is a SeaQ

I’ve had my BB58 noticed (by people who know what it is) at work four times I think in the last month - still no idea what to say in response. Not sure how Rolex people deal with everyone knowing you’ve got £10k on your wrist tbh.
Not helped by company redundancies and the sense that belts are being tightened across the board.
A mate of mine has a Bronze Belly tanker I quite like it but BB chrono or Speedy for similar money all day long for me
