  • Don't care, I'll slip and slide everywhere

  • Very cool but the construction isn't for me, totally flat footbed.

  • Both recent pairs I've had, Lowcate and Mountain Fly, have had uncomfortable soles. Flat, rigid, not well cushioned.

  • boooooooooooooooooo. shame

  • One for you young(er) boys! 👴➡️💀

  • Managed to snag two more pairs of these yesterday in the Black Friday sale for less than A$170, retail is normally A$230. Pretty happy, they feel good and they aren't New fucking Balance. Podiatrists can fuck off. 😋

  • I purchased these Nrocs out of curiosity more than anything. Even worse than I expected, they are going back.

  • They look like an AI generated picture of some trainers.

  • Forgive me father for I have (or am about to) sin. I’ve been having impure thoughts about Nike Vapormax’s for weeks now and am on the verge of giving in to temptation.

  • These absolutely slap, as I believe the kids say

  • Those are banging alright! I had a few pairs of those 20-odd years ago - always thought the colour combos were cracking.

I even like the retina straining Supreme ones from a few years back

  • So after telling myself no more.

    I have copped these.

  • After much hand wringing and soul searching I tried to grab a pair of these earlier in the year, totally unobtanium.

  • I had you down for a pair of triple black Hoka’s @RonAsheton

  • I'm definitely in that demographic now. #skechersnext

  • Are Saucony true to size? And are their non-wide shoes narrow or normal?

  • I’m not even joking. Walking, running, being on my feet for hours on end they’re so comfortable. Sketchers can >>>>

  • Oh man, I did look at them as well as Asics, Saucony, Adidas, etc, we've got a big outlet near us and all the big running shoe companies are there. I went with NB at first which did the job with custom insoles but they made me feel like such a (gran)dad. Plantar fasciitis is no joke, brev!

I'm just a massive Nike slut but I do really like that Shadow 3000 colourway.

  • I would say a narrow foot as standard. Prolly edging the tight end of sizing.

I already have the 5000 Shadow and they are pretty thin imo.

  • In here because I'm trying to wean myself off Converse.

    they aren't New fucking Balance

Can someone remind me what the big beef is with New Balance? I know they're a bit tragi-wishes-it-was 2002-again-dad, but I am a tragic dad and I fucking miss 2002!

  • I think there is a bit of an Americanisation of social media.

In the States it an achingly white mom brand. So I think that vibe gets adopted.

That said round me all the bougie mums in their rapper SUVs wear them for the nursery and school drop offs...

  • I thought they became the alt right trainer of choice?

  • There is no politics.

It just looks good or it doesn't.

Fashion created a Dad trainer scheme to flip tired NB silhouettes made popular by Americans.

It was never a thing tho. Fashion movements don't exist anymore.

Brands like Saucony / Karhu / Diadora are picking up the retro leisure market as people get bored of NB / Adidas / Nike / Reebok silouettes.

    Thats it.
