No. It’s not bad. It’s okay. It’ll make decent espresso. But you need a grinder that is espresso capable, which will probably be more expensive than the ROK is. The workflow with it isn’t great and it needs significant pre heating. The whole thing is just a huge heat sink.
I’d grab a Flair Neo Flex or better yet a Flair Classic Solo way before I got a ROK again. You’ll get away without having an espresso capable grinder with these more easily, too, as they both have pressurized portafilters.
But the Robot trumps all of those by some margin.
