Daughter has a 2 seat Smart which has been good for city and local life but she now has a job involving a commute of about 25 miles so is looking for something a little bit bigger.
Aside from the forum Honda Jazz fave she is looking at a Toyota Aygo of 66 plate vintage (automatic)
Amy pitfalls to the Aygo apart from the usual wear and tear stuff?

Would be $180,000 AUD landed and licences here.
Itβs why importing a V8 Rangie actually makes sense economically

Ah yes, I should clarify it'll be going to the tried and tested detailer after I've passed the initial 30 days rejection period - once bitten, twice shy and all that, I'm not putting any money in it till it's past that point!
The initial piece is above the driver door, previous owner had hoiked themselves out and scratched the door surround up with their ring hand- that's the bit I've asked for the once over on, nothing else!
Had a look on eBay last night; think I'll be getting an arm rest and new handbrake gator from these guys to match the door cards: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_ssn=ns_trim_service&_osacat=0&_armrs=1&_odkw=F87&_from=R40&_trksid=p2046732.m570.l1313&_nkw=BMW+F87&_sacat=0
and then some carbon interior bits to complete the inside - no idea why these aren't OEM...
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/196058206958
Might finally finish off the wheel with the dry carbon insert.

Then i'm done! Big fan of the OEM+ trend, but inside only and user replaceable. Outside will remain untouched (was very happy to see no drill holes, so no previous body kits), as will anything mechanical until the 12 month BMW warranty expires... -

It sure how I feel about this. The new version looks somewhat similar to new American cars. The old one is the old one which never looked like anything else.

The original was based on the the North American Maverick, no? Most of the late 60s / early 70s two door coupes in the US had similar body shapes. The entire GM line of Olds / Buick / Chevy from that era are worth reviewing. Dodge / Plymouth Charger too.
It certainly looks better than what they did to the Mustang.

As a child in the 70s, I had no exposure to American cars. The Capri was a space ship! And with the Professionals connection - a cool car.
My mate has a fully restored 2.8i which he took me out in the night before my wedding - I probably remember that trip more than the wedding ππππ -

Case in point, the achingly beautiful creation stemming from the mind of Lars O. Saeltzer, the virtual artist behind the Larson Design moniker on social media. Also known as lars_o_saeltzer on Instagram, he recently shared a quick comparison between a very real orange / black 1972 Ford Capri RS 2600 and his modernized project.

The Capri is 100% influenced by/a poverty spec US muscle cars of the era.

I owned a JPS 1974 Mk11 for best part of ten years, probably the car I regret selling the most but young family and a mortgage on one wage it had to go, originally a 1.6GT I made it a stage two 2.0GT :)

Poverty spec in the USA in the 70s equates to millionaire status here.
I remember Austin Maxis - not something I think too much about now! -

You guys understand the diffence between the Capri and consul Capri?
Singapore pricing huh? You can get them landed here in aus for about 25-30k which seems ok for such a unique car
