weeeeeeelllll, I take a 60-62cm, so I reckon get a 60 & sell it to me if/when it gets too big.
in all seriousness, if it were me I would get the right size now, rather than trying to guess a different size to "grow into", but I'm younger than you & foolish

Agreed with the part about getting the right fit now. Surely you'll want to enjoy riding it when it's done, so get the right size now. There's also the aesthetics factor.
Sounds like you'll be building it up in a somewhat classic sort of way, if I read correctly. Too much seatpost wouldn't look quite right on a classic build. ATMO

I need to send Richard my desired dimensions.
Not sure what to do about this. I currently ride frames with seat tubes in the 57 - 61 cm range. Most comfortable is 59 / 60 ish.
However, I am now in my 60's, so expect to start getting slowly shorter, so thinking maybe 58 might be best.
Was just looking at bike fitting - now that is expensive!
