Snow is hitting us hard, so I'm looking for inspo for a snow-capable machine... Thought this was pretty on-topic, though the rack looks kinda shit:

Great! Any idea what model that Bianchi is?

All you really need is a refurbished vintage mtb, some sweet bars/grips and some botique luggage.

Osprey apparently, from 1994 and rather nice indeed. https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/366818/?offset=100
I suppose I have a soft spot for these as I had one of the cheaper Bianchis from the same years as a kid and my dad had one of the fancier ones, SL470 I think from 1996, which is now my commuter, posted on the previous page. There was a local shop selling them and so there were lots of Bianchi MTBs about. Mine has got studded tyres on it now for the winter and the commute today in -13℃ was pleasant enough to prefer to ride to the office instead of working from home.
There's a link to a 1996 Bianchi catalogue here, there's an Osprey too: https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/bianchi-catalogues-from-96-98.451294/

B-b-but.... no mudguards?
-
• #27262
If there’s loads of fresh/loose snow mudguards aren’t necessarily the best option as they can clog.
Ask me how I know

Does anyone have a recommendation for bars with around 15 degrees backsweep.
The 25 degrees of these og's is too much for me

Ergotec M-bars? Otherwise you might find the Ergon GC1 grips will take some of the excess angle off your wrists, worked for me.

SQLab do 12 degree ones but $$$

Sonder Scope have 15° - not tried them myself as I am a fan of the OGs, but tempted to see what they're like

Sq lab do some at 16 Deg. Stooge Moto are 17, salsa bend too. Hunter Smooth move, sim works little nick, surly sunrise, millhouse bars all 15.

I have been so happy with Gusset Stash bars in the past, but I would love a bit more width tbh and Hunter Smooth Moves (like suggested ^)are at the top of my wishlist. Infinitely cool those.
I am currently in Stooge Moto bars. They are a good fit and was free but they have an ugly transition/bend.
