What I find remarkable about this article is that there doesn't seem to be a single picture of the sinkhole on-line:

Obviously, I understand that people won't have been allowed near it from soon after it happened, but formerly some newspaper would have dispatched a photographer, and it can't have been impossible to take a picture from a distance.
