Changed the bulbs for the speedo back light on the mighty Honda C90 this morning. Surprisingly easy to swap in some led bulbs, ten minutes at the most.
The instructions I got from the c90 forum said “ Unscrew the speedo cable from the speedo (but don't let it drop down into the depths of the handlebar casing)”
but what they should’ve said is “but don't let the speedo cable retaining nut drop down into the depths of the handlebar casing because it’s a bastard to get out”. Guess how I know that?
About an hour later all back together, skinned knuckles, my back is in tatters and the speedo illuminated.
With regards to the back in tatters has anyone found a light bike lift that is any use in avoiding being hunched up?
