  • anyone running 45mm pdw mudguards on their strael v3? no fitment issues etc.?

  • No real issues but they weren’t as easy as I’d hoped given strael has all the mounts etc.

    I drilled a hole in the mudguard for the rear brake bridge as the hanger it comes with doesn’t work. They sell one that does separately which seems slightly cheeky. I used the spacers that came on the under-downtube bottle cage mount to space the rear guard from the braze ons.

    They do look great, as mudguards go, and work really well. No noise from them.

    did the same for my 37mm ones - honestly i think it is fine, it looks extremely clean using a drilled hole

    but sounds like they fit ok so will look to get some when i get some bigger wheels/tyres :-)
