  • Yes - I remember - they were Arkane wheels right? That's a super kind offer! Let me DM you.

  • Mate had his bike nicked in Bristol, locked to itself outside the Dame pub. Should post in how not to lock your bike really. Recognisable blue GT quill, shout if anyone sees it for sale! Thanks

  • I'm pretty sure I saw this yesterday. It stuck out because the guy riding it looked pretty ropey. For the life of me I can't recall exactly where it was now but I'm sure it was in Hackney. Fuck, really sorry to hear this, cool bike.

  • Damn, thanks. Gives me a lil hope tracking it down myself, what time of day did you spot it? If you see it again if you wouldn't mind pinging me a message id really appreciate it! My number is 07825003548

  • It was definitely in the morning I know that, can't remember exact time I'm afraid. Yes absolutely, will keep an eye out and be in touch if I see it.

  • It's true.

Out side Allpress on Dalston Lane one weekday at 3pm.

Hub Velo had 12 cases in 2 weeks.

Pretty sure I bought mine back off some guy on eBay with only shifters, saddles and lights for sale, like hundreds over the years. Very few other parts.

  • Good thing about bullmoose bars is I can put a lock through it. I also use hexlox on the pinch bolt. Might even glue a bearing into the top capā€¦

  • the pedals..... (or lack thereof)

  • Someone suggested to me putting woodfiller in the bolts, which can be chipped out when the time comes to make adjustments/replacements.

  • Just superglue a ball bearing in there as another option.

Acetone will dissolve it in the workstand at home (make sure it's the 100% stuff), though will take about 20 mins with some fettling to get the ball bearing out. No thief gonna wait that long.

  • will take about 20 mins with some fettling to get the ball bearing out.

    A magnet isn't any use?

  • In my experience it gets stuck fast if you've put the right size bearing in there. Even with solvent you'll need a sharp point and some fiddling to get the sucker out of there, a magnet isn't much use.

  • I used to glue a bearing a lot smaller than the hole in there. Can't get an allen key in, needs acetone to remove it, but pops out easily.

  • Update re Cinelli histogram*
I managed to contact the owner and bought it, now at mine. Send me a pm if itā€™s yours. Need some proof!

  • Iā€™ve looked at all the stolen bikes pages and canā€™t find anything, but let me know if you know anything. Thanks

Canā€™t find a photo of it in its current cockpit set up, which is velo orange belleville bars and a small front wald basket, and it has a fizik saddle, but otherwise the bike is the same as when I bought it from here - this is the sales thread https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/377250/#comment16579537
