• I want to get a bleed kit for my sram force brakes. At the moment they are the only discs I have but I’d like the kit to be future proof to work with a range of other manufacturers eg Campagnolo/Shimano etc. I don’t imagine I’ll be bleeding brakes that often but I’d rather buy a decent set once than buying cheap stuff that doesn’t work properly. Is the Park Tool the best option or are the kits on “epic bleed” decent?

  • The epic kits are decent. Personally I have separate kits for SRAM and Shimano (plus campag, magura). That way one is dedicated mineral oil and one DOT fluid so don't need to be cleaned out after every use

  • Been using an Epic bleed kit for about 8 years across multiple brakes with no issues, although the pinch clamps have finally creased the tubes enough now that they're ready to be replaced.
I've taken a punt on an Aliexpress bleed kit which is essentially a copy of the Sram Pro one, but was £15, not £100. Can report back when it arrives
