  • When I lived in Nashville, I couldn't understand people riding bikes in Tennessee. I mean, it's beautiful etc etc, but it wasn't easy riding a bike in and around the city (for me, at the time). Which I think ultimately put me off the idea of riding a bike outside of the area I lived. Having done more cycling now, I do regret not doing any.

  • I'm hoping to move to the US in a couple of years, maybe Nashville (or TN in general) as I'm unashamedly a country music fan. How is the road riding out that way?
From looking on google maps it seems much more interesting than some states where its hundreds of miles of straight flat roads.

  • nashville is especially bad. most of tennessee is pretty rural. i lived in chattanooga for 2 years and thought the cycling was great. what it lacks in bike infra it makes up for in fewer cars than a major city.
