    Both that and Teachers were firm favourites of my wife’s grandad who was instrumental in my whisky education.

    Think I still have a bottle, or half at least, under the stairs.

  • Teachers still seems readily available over here in France, there's quite a big market for blended whisky over here (especially shit ones with cheesy Scottish names).

    The arse has completely fallen out of the blended market in the UK, I wouldn't be surprised if they keep teachers for markets where the name still has some prestige. They might also just be upping the output of ardmore single malt which is lowering the the amount of decent stuff for teachers.

    It might also just be a temporary thing whilst they up production in general.
