Am I the only one who finds GMT a wildly useless feature?
Probably doesn’t help that many designers love to choose 3 hands that matchy match beautifully, then one different shaped, different length orange or purple one they found down the back of the couch.

Yes and no.
Imo dual time is a brilliant complication. Way more useful than a fiddly stopwatch for eg. But watch companies always opt for GMTs over dual time as I assume it's cheaper and easier.
I get confused with 24hr clock/train times because i’m not very bright/too old to change, having a UTC wristwatch with both 12/24hr is handy for me, the jumping hour you advance/retard when travelling and having home time display while not something I use every day is quite a cool feature.
