Ok great, I’ll send you screen grabs of all their ‘health report thingys’ (not the technical term) and you can choose the one you want.

These drives are reported to be failing randomly quite frequently. There was a firmware fix but there are still failures https://www.theverge.com/22291828/sandisk-extreme-pro-portable-my-passport-failure-continued

Yes I’ve seen this too.
I’ve not encountered any issues and I’ve used about 70 on various projects over the last year or so.
I’ve checked the firmware on them all (Sandisk have a tool on their website where you can type in the serial number of the drive and they tell you if they are affected or not) and none of them are in the ‘danger zone’.
Anyone in need of some super fast SSD drives?
I've got a handful of Sandisk Extreme Pro Portable 4TB SSD's which I bought for a project but I no longer need. They've been used a couple of times each but only to backup onto and then copy off again once back at home.
These are capable of 2000MB/s which is crazy fast but you do need the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port on your computer to get that speed.
On most computers they’ll do about 1050MB/s which is still super quick.
Having plugged them into a drive checker they are all in good condition and I’m happy to share screen grabs of their drive Health which shows info like number of times plugged in, total hours run, total data written to them etc
These are £300 on amazon (see link below) im hoping for £190 each. £210 is the cheapest i've seen these selling for used on FleaBay.
If anyone needs more than one I can do some bargains
