I think it's one of those aspects of two wheels that people don't recognize till shit hits the fan properly.
Rains down here couple week back; greased up cold tarmac. Like you, off camber, gentle downhill and Uber rider fucking pins his scooter. He goes straight into the bush on the other side; bike is mildly fucked, he's ok, I stop, ask if he's ok, all good; we talk, he says he has no idea what happened, I infer he was going too fast for the corner, he says no way (he was), he calms down after a while and I ask if he's crashed before. He says no.
Think it's one of those things were experience tempers the wrist.
In other bullshit, the fucking fuel cap is completely seized and is now going to 'pain in the ass' territory.
