I think up to 200
I would 100 percent wear that prx. But sadly I'm not shopping for me. -

Yeah not loads of options in that budget.

Budget gold watch has to the Seiko 5 'daydate' of some sort. Loads in Hong Kong / Japan on eBay for 150-200 and I didn't get hit with any tax when I got mine.
Automatic too.

Part of me really wants to buy one.
But my watch budget is currently zero.
-
• #75431
That looks deeply uncomfortable

Timex have also got several options and styles in that budget - do you have an idea of what size / style you're looking for?

It's like one of your Frogmen had a fling with one of their Giugiaro's.

I love that now Seiko have a GMT version of the 4R/6R they can basically make GMT versions of everything. And they are.
-
• #75435
Am I the only one who finds GMT a wildly useless feature?
Probably doesn’t help that many designers love to choose 3 hands that matchy match beautifully, then one different shaped, different length orange or purple one they found down the back of the couch. -

If you go quartz, try and get something with a Seiko or Casio movement.
Means it’ll be fixable down the track (even if it is a movement swap, they’re cheap and available everywhere).Cheap ish “gold” = plated, so adjust expectations accordingly…

depends who's having to tell you you'll never be a globe trotter

Perfect for the heyday of flying, nowadays useful to keep track of your friend in a different country.

Gotta says I really like that, a bit on the thick side for a field-style watch.
-
• #75440
That looks much better than I would have expected

I like that dial.

I'm into the Seiko not as busy as the new alpinist gmt. I saw the new GS in the window of my local WOS last week week. They do a few colours. Love the case and dial texture but they are quite bright. I'd like to see that dial in something more subtle like a dark copper.

Very like, but does anyone need a third green dialed watch?
(I know the answer, stop being enablers) -

I see Breitling have bought the Universal Geneve brand.
It will be interesting to see if it's to make hundreds of reissues of Polerouters and Evil Ninas or if they will make them an more high end offering at prices Breitling are unable to achieve.

Breitling have just done another Rolex owned Bucherer collab. If you can't beat em join em

Gosh darn those are ugly. Its a real shame they keep making these whoppers because I think the Superocean Heritage 57 is one of the best looking dive watches around. Just make that in a smaller size, Breitling. You'll actually sell them...

• #75448
Their website says its the perfect size!

Come on peeps, £750 gets it before it goes on eBay for more 👍

I suspect the lilac one might be a real banger.
What's the budget?
