Wait, people point the head down?
I guess this one of those half the world do it one way and didn't realise the other half do it different situation

Loving the thread drift.
Pointing the rose down is more direct, up disperses the shower wider, depends what you’re drowning! Haws watering cans come with an extra 90° elbow type rose for getting into pots too.
@edscoble I do see what you’re saying but in this specific instance I think the plastic £30 version has all the ergonomics with zero negatives. Which is still premo money for a bucket with a handle you can get for £8 at a garden centre.

Yeah what about the screws?!?

I’m gonna reword your comment;
but in this specific instance I think the plastic £20 Casio has all the comfort with a much more accurate timekeeping.
If my partner ask me that would like (insert product), I’m not going to argue that she’d be better off with a cheaper one because of personal opinion.

Yeah what about the screws?!?

Next you'll be saying an S-Works SL8 performs no better than a bike costing a third of the money. Oh hang on....

I might be missing something, or be captain hindsight, but it seems that something hexagonal, square or any other geometric shape that isn’t a circle, is not going to rotate when seated in a similarly shaped hole, unless it is a circle. It seems the right screwdriver would only help you round the screws, and the hole they are seated in, faster.
Or is there some weird magic going on?

Ok these are bolts not screws 🤗

You can tell by the fact they are recessed hexagons that is the case.

Anyone here got anything good or bad to say about rotary quartz? Not got a huge budget but been tasked with getting a small watch in gold, saw some rotary in a jewellery shop, and they are the closest to price and style I've found.
I've also been pointed towards maven?
Really no idea where to go if it's not a Casio or way to expensive.

Rotary stuff in flakey in my experience.

With similar criteria I went with a Citizen, looked at a few fashion brands but they all looked a bit cheap. To be honest it has rarely been worn so not sure how well it wears over time but the eco drive movement is going fine (which I expected).

Love a Reverso! Ernest Jones started stocking them, Richemont replaced Cartier with them instead.

How small and how gold we talking?

Good point, I'll go have a look, but the website has at least one suitable option. Thank you.

Thank you, however, Im aiming for something that feels a bit nicer than the Casio options I've looked at.
I'll try the Citizen, but other suggestions welcome.

Citizen or Seiko
I was thinking exactly the same
