Just google Navalny. Lots of news stories that he has disappeared and is no longer to be found within the Russian prison system.

It may be too soon to call it, according to Reuters prisoner transit takes weeks and it is normal to get no information about their whereabouts until it is complete.

Which is not to suggest that Putin or any number of scumbags in his rotten regime are not capable of it, it would be entirely plausible, and given the recent shift in geopolitical attention, the risk of that sort of thing is probably higher.

It was always going to pass. A few would abstain to show how tough they were but they wouldn't vote against as that would require taking a real stance.

If Navalny is alive he's as good as dead. It's clear that Putin doesn't intend him to survive prison.

He’s only in prison because the murder attempts outside were so farcical, like most stuff ‘strategic genius’ Putin tries.

What I find remarkable about this article is that there doesn't seem to be a single picture of the sinkhole on-line:

Obviously, I understand that people won't have been allowed near it from soon after it happened, but formerly some newspaper would have dispatched a photographer, and it can't have been impossible to take a picture from a distance.
