I have a graph showing how many people are leaving a project each month and how many people are remaining. Assuming there is one person remaining in the last month - let's say Dec - should it have 1 person remaining or 0?

Yes. That's where I'm getting confused - there isn't actually a correct answer is there? It just needs to be constant across the months.
I fucking hate being ill. It now seems to be an annual event and takes me ages to shake off.
