I can no longer access marketplace from mobile browser, seems like that may have gone the way of messenger. One of the few reasons I still have an account. Bastards.

"Apesin Ola requested to participate in London Fixed Gear and Single Speed. Until they're approved, they won't be able to post or comment in the group."
Can someone in LFGSS FB group remove me from it?
My "hippy hippy" FB account, which I can't kill because I never get FB password reset emails, is in this group and FB sends me emails from this group yet can't manage to send me a password reset email. Zuckerberg, you fuckwit!

Just tried to log into my account. Apparently they want my photo ID because I tried to log in from an unknown device.

This happened to me about 10 years ago. Managed to not have an account until very recently and it was a blessing in disguise. Fuck sending them photo ID

About to delete my Facebook account. Want to download everything first though as there are 17 years of memories there.
Is it just me or has the home feed degraded somewhat?

Ill say yes and kick you out....

Tried Facebook purity, or that it is now called fluff book purity. Seemed to work for a bit at removing the random groups and seeing more of just friends stuff.
Now the algorithm has changed and awaiting the purity thing to catch up.

I recently changed my phone and have had the old number cancelled. This means I can't log in to Facebook due to the two factor authentication sending a message to my old phone. I've looked everywhere and it seems like there is no way to recover my account, which seems totally mad.
There was a link for account recovery that asks you to upload a photo of your ID, but this link no longer works.
Anyone know if there's another workaround?

When you set up 2FA you would have been given the option to save and download your recovery codes. That would be the best way but by the sounds of it you don’t have those either?

Sadly not. I checked my emails and no sign of these.

They wouldn't have emailed them to you - its a display once and copy them somewhere secure type of affair. My sympathies but this is MFA doing its job. I've been locked out of my UK PayPal account for over six years because I left the UK and shut my UK phone account without disabling MFA in PayPal. Remembered everything else but not that.
In the news again after that guy was convicted for abusing 52 kids that he groomed on Facebook.
I’m not on it. I know intimately how it works though because I do a load of advertising for work on it. I just don’t fucking get it. What does anyone get from it that is enjoyable?
